Holiday Hop tomorrow

Come see the Short North in a whole new light! The HOLIDAY HOP is the most magical day of the year in the Short North- more than ever with our 17 illuminated arches! Santa will be roosting at the Victorian Gate Plaza from 5-11PM at 663 N. High Street that will be enchantingly transformed into “Short North Pole.” Bring a new toy for Firefighters 4 kids and get your photo with Saint Nick for FREE (or hand over five bucks). Check out the “Holiday Cutouts,” fabulously painted works of art by a CCAD student which you can put your own head in for a fun photo-op- at “The Pole” as well!

Carriage rides around Goodale Park are gratis courtesy of Anthony Thomas Candy from 6-10pm. Live entertainment will be provided throughout the day at various venues. Brickel Alley will be shut down for local musicians all day and feature Holiday Karaoke hosted by Mary Ann Brandt at night! The Salvation Army bands and kettles will ring in the early evening hours. CD101 will occupy their established spot at Brian Boru's as well as hop among establishments.

Check out the fabulously decorated windows as you venture up and down the street. Stop in and sample a sweet treat from Anthony Thomas candies in our galleries! If you stray too far from your car you can jump onto the FREE Christmas Coach sponsored by local realtor Dooley & Company to drop your holiday purchases. OR, use it to cruise anywhere on High Street from the Convention Center to the Kroger at 7th Avenue! Bring along the entire family for the ultimate nostalgic holiday experience!
