okay so i request books through the library very often.. and the longest i've had to wait for something was for Guiliani's book Leadership, when i was astounded to find i was number 230-something on the list. today i just requested the new harry potter, since god knows i will never have $40 to spend buying my own copy. and i am now number 1,947 on the wait list!! they've got to be kidding. and they only own 450 copies right now so i think i might possibly get to read it to my children some day, but no sooner. oh how i love under-funded library systems.
