Yes, Mr. Kucinich, IT’S TIME.

No bad news in this post. Time for some I N S P I R A T I O N !

The first bit of hope is a video (by Columbus IndyMedia) of Saturday’s protest at the Federal Building here in Columbus.

The second is something we’ve all been waiting for. You may have heard last week that Ohio’s own Rep. Dennis Kucinich said the “I” word on the House floor.

“Since war with Iran is an option of this Administration and since such war is patently illegal, then impeachment may well be the only remedy which remains to stop a war of aggression against Iran.”

Now Kucinish has gone even further and has sent out a video appeal to the nation, asking US, is it time?

We cannot let this administration go any deeper into this journey, into destroying democratic governance, trashing our Constitution, forgetting the very purpose of this nation. America was never meant to be a nation forever on the warpath. It was meant to be a nation which also had the capacity to “Promote the General Welfare.”

We need to reevaluate the direction of this administration by looking at its conduct in office, by determining whether it has faithfully followed the laws of our nation.

I’m prepared to start that process. I began this week with a speech on the floor of the house, which warned the administration that its actions toward Iran already constitute a case to ask the question about impeachment.

So I’m asking you, what do you think? Do you think it’s time?

Tell him it’s time.

Today’s Dispatch article

Sometimes it’s just cooler to see a real article vs. the online version. Plus then you get to see the page placement, and it’s the main article on page 4!

And as it turns out, even though none of our quotes got in, they decided to put a picture of me in there, random huh? But it’s a great thing only because it got them to print “Columbus 9/11 Truth“!! HA! The moonbats made it in!

Live @ …my house - 7:20am

What a great day/night that was! And better still, the Dispatch fulfilled their promise, check it out:

Vocal minority calls for end to Iraq war
Lack of involvement by most Americans outrages activists

Thanks to Meredith Heagney for covering this! She didn’t use any of mine or Sherry’s quotes, but that’s okay. She did quote Bonnie! And what great exposure for World Can’t Wait!

One of the things Bonnie said:

“I have a feeling we’re probably going to do this again next year, and probably many years to come”

…I think I said about the same thing, she asked how long I’ve been involved with the Iraq war protests and I told her, SINCE THE BEGINNING and (pardon my language) it’s so f—king depressing that we have to do this for a FOURTH YEAR. We sure as hell better not be doing this on March 18th, 2008. There is just no excuse. As our group says.. The WORLD CAN’T WAIT any longer!!

I realize my updates got boring at the end and I just posted pictures (cop out, I know) but it was the rum’s fault. I’m gonna go back through today and fix some spelling mistakes and add some linkage. But it was the rum that made the drive-by bullhorning with Jamie, Aaron, and Jesse so much fun. Hope you enjoyed that OSU!!

I heard a vicious rumor that at one point I was walking down High St. with Jesse’s bullhorn telling people they needed to wake up NOW, that they couldn’t hit the snooze button on 9/11 Truth!! HAHA, I gotta get me one of those bullhorns! Or maybe that’s a bad idea… too dangerous? I don’t know… Sherry, what do you think? My next investment?

I have some more photos to post, including Bob Fitrakis, his wife, and Connie dressed up as V, and some great ones of Cultural Relativity, my new favorite band (”9/11 was an inside job, who cares, let’s drink some beer!”) I’ll try and get those posted at lunch.

I suppose it’s off to the real world now…

Dr. Fitrakis (2006 Green party candidate for Ohio Governor) hanging out with HickMania and Yuk Falls band members, David Lewis (Sgt. Poncho) & Mike Newman (Big Tiny Tall Saddle)

Live @ Little Brother’s - 4:57pm

Sherry and I just got interviewed by someone from the Dispatch… sweet. She was asking why there is such strong opposition to the war, but nobody’s out here protesting. My answer? …I don’t know!! I think people like to pass the buck, they voted the Dem’s in last November and they think that’s all there is to it. Too bad they aren’t doing s—t! (Congress, I mean.)

That’s a problem indeed. Nobody in the streets.

Cultural Relativity just played, they are so hot!!

The veggie chili is flowing. Too bad it’s kinda spicy and I don’t like spicy. But great otherwise.

More soon!

By the way, we’re here til 9PM, not 6!! There’s still time, come join us!!

Live @ Little Brother’s - 3:20pm

Peace out for now!
