As I type this, The Bilderberg Group, aka over 140 of the world’s elite, is meeting in Virginia.
You would never know it by glancing at the mainstream media. Shouldn’t such a HUGE meeting of international policy-makers be getting more attention? Well, if you’re anything like me, you know the things that don’t get ANY media attention are the stories that really matter. Don’t expect to see it on CNN or in the Columbus Dispatch because the Bilderberg members quite literally OWN THE WORLD and if they tell the media to look the other way, that’s what they’ll do. And because often times the media elite are some of the attendees.
I’d like to give props to Alex Jones and the Infowars community, The American Free Press, We Are Change, and all the other groups that are working hard to shine light on this important gathering.
If you’re new to The Bilderberg Group, it’s pretty simple. They’re the elite of the elite. Worst of the worst. They drive cars with tinted windows and are swathed in secrecy and security. War mongers, war profiteers, corporate elite, media elite, bankers, politicians, more bankers, and more politicians. Obama was there last night, in fact.
Check out their blatant, look-what-we’re-doing-right-in-front-of-you Press Release:
CHANTILLY, Va. — The 56th Bilderberg Meeting will be held in Chantilly, Virginia, USA 5 – 8 June 2008. The Conference will deal mainly with a nuclear free world, cyber terrorism, Africa, Russia, finance, protectionism, US-EU relations, Afghanistan and Pakistan, Islam and Iran. Approximately 140 participants will attend, of whom about two-thirds come from Europe and the balance from North America. About one-third is from government and politics, and two-thirds are from finance, industry, labor, education and communications. The meeting is private in order to encourage frank and open discussion.
Bilderberg takes its name from the hotel in Holland, where the first meeting took place in May 1954. That pioneering meeting grew out of the concern expressed by leading citizens on both sides of the Atlantic that Western Europe and North America were not working together as closely as they should on common problems of critical importance. It was felt that regular, off-the-record discussions would help create a better understanding of the complex forces and major trends affecting Western nations in the difficult post-war period…
…In short, Bilderberg is a small, flexible, informal and off-the-record international forum in which different viewpoints can be expressed and mutual understanding enhanced.
…Participants are chosen for their experience, their knowledge, and their standing; all participants attend Bilderberg in a private and not an official capacity.
There will be no press conference.

A meeting where previous and current Cabinet Members and Governors are mingling with Google and Microsoft big wigs and international bankers?
Talking about everything from a nuclear free world, cyber-terrorism, finance, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Islam and Iran? Wow, sounds kind of important.
Hey wait a minute, what about The Logan Act? You know, that FEDERAL LAW passed in 1799 that forbids government officials from holding secret international meetings?
Doesn’t that mean Keith Alexander, Ben Bernanke, Timothy Geithner, Henry Paulson, Condoleezza Rice, and the Governors of Kansas and South Carolina are committing FELONIES by attending? Last year, when Texas Governor Rick Perry attended the Bilderberg meeting in Turkey, Ron Paul wanted to charge him with a criminal violation of this act. What makes it any less illegal this year?
“Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence … with any foreign government … with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government … in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.”
1 Stat. 613, January 30, 1799, codified at 18 U.S.C. § 953 (2004).
So we are left with the eternal question… What world-changing events are the Bilderbergs planning this weekend? An attack on Iran? Another 9/11? Are they putting the finishing touches on a North American Union?
Most importantly— will the people of the world roll over and let them get away with it all, or will they finally seek justice and demand some answers?
Either way, we can’t say we weren’t warned…
