Kucinich to Propose a Nat’l. Commission on Truth and Reconciliation for 9/11

Highlights from Congressman Kucinich’s latest email I received an hour ago:

“America must move from the errant, retributive justice of 9/11 to a healing, restorative process of truth and reconciliation.

Before the Congress adjourns, I will bring forth a new proposal for the establishment of a National Commission on Truth and Reconciliation, which will have the power to compel testimony and gather official documents to reveal to the American people not only the underlying deception which has divided us, but in that process of truth seeking set our nation on a path of reconciliation.

We suffer in our remembrance of 9/11, because of the terrible loss of innocent lives on that grim day. We also suffer because 9/11 was seized as an opportunity to run a political agenda, which has set America on a course of the destruction of another nation and the destruction of our own Constitution. And we have become less secure as a result of the warped practice of pursing peace through the exercise of pre-emptive military strength.

…As we were all victims of 9/11, so we have become victims of the interpretation of 9/11.

…The dominant color of our new national security since 9/11 is neither red, white nor blue. Everyday is orange. Everyday reminders of fear of 9/11 become banal.. Yet we no longer hear the airport announcements nor see the orange colored warnings because they have commonplace standards in our new national security state, as is the Patriot Act, wiretapping, and a host of invasions of privacy and diminution of civil liberties. The Constitution has been roundly attacked by the very people who took an oath to defend it.

There is a powerful desire across America for change, not necessarily from control by one political party to another, but a change from living with lies to living with truth.

…The South African Truth and Reconciliation enabled that nation to come to grips with its past through a public confessional, bringing forward those who committed crimes and having the power to grant amnesty for full disclosure of crimes against the people. Of course, our path may necessarily be different: High US government officials stand accused in Impeachment petitions of violating national and international law. Our continued existence as a democracy may depend upon how thoroughly we seek the truth. I will call upon the America people to join me in supporting this effort.

…The truth can move us forward, as a unified whole, so that we can one day become a re-United States. 9/11 is the day the world changed. It is the day America embraced a metaphor of war. If we are open to truth and reconciliation, we may one day be able, once again, to embrace peace.”

We Are Change Ohio asks Obama about the Federal Reserve

“What would possess people to drive 4 hours in the rain to a city they’ve never been in to ask questions of politicians that cannot even hear their voices? Because the alternative is doing nothing. Wake up please!”

Obama was asked yesterday by my friends with We Are Change Ohio about the Federal Reserve and the dollar crisis — aka the ECONOMY, stupid.

Being the perfect puppet that he is, his response was that “the dollar can be strengthened again once our economy is strengthened.”

Yes, that was really his response. So it has nothing to do with the money supply, eh? Nothing to do with printing and printing until we run out of ink? Money backed by gold is just a silly thing of the past? We just need more “faith” and suddenly our dollars become worth something again? Why didn’t anybody else think of that?!

Now I finally understand what the big deal is with Obama. He’s BRILLIANT!

Of course the crowd clapped wildly at such a marvelous answer. Such good little sheep…


Pay no attention to this pesky data Mr. Obama!

He then feigned ignorance when asked about his foreign policy advisor, Zbigniew Brzezinski.

In case you’ve never heard of this elitest puppeteer, he co-founded the Trilateral Commission with David Rockefeller and has all kinds of shady past political dealings I could cite here. He’s Dick Cheney’s soul mate, basically. Nothing about him says “CHANGE.”

At the end of the video you’ll also see Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown, Ohio Governor Ted Strickland, and Senator Obama asked whether they’d support a new 9/11 investigation that the family members are calling for. All of them responded by not responding.

Whoever is considering throwing away their vote on this puppet of the elites and bankers, please consider the impact it will have on your children and how you will go about raising them in a depression. Do you know how to collect and purify rainwater? Do you know how to can your own food after you’ve harvested it? Do you know how to speak Chinese? Do you know how to start a fire using Federal Reserve Notes as kindling? If not, you may want to reconsider your vote.

Hand’s Up Bush Regime: Ohio Has Citizen’s Arrest Rights

08/06 UPDATE: Okay Ohio, this week is your chance! Obama’s in Berea today for a 2pm town-hall meeting at Baldwin-Wallace College. McCain will host a Town Hall meeting in Lima, Ohio on Thursday, August 7th at The Veterans Memorial Civic & Convention Center. The doors will open at 9:30 am.

Very intrigued by the recent story of 4 people being arrested in Iowa for trying to make a citizen’s arrest of Karl Rove, I decided to look in the Ohio Revised Code to see what our local laws say about the subject. Indeed we are entitled to make citizen arrests:

2935.04 When any person may arrest

When a felony has been committed, or there is reasonable ground to believe that a felony has been committed, any person without a warrant may arrest another whom he has reasonable cause to believe is guilty of the offense, and detain him until a warrant can be obtained.

2935.06 Private person making arrest

A private person who has made an arrest pursuant to section 2935.04 [see above] of the Revised Code or detention pursuant to section 2935.041 of the Revised Code shall forthwith take the person arrested before the most convenient judge or clerk of a court of record or before a magistrate, or deliver such person to an officer authorized to execute criminal warrants who shall, without unnecessary delay, take such person before the court or magistrate having jurisdiction of the offense. The officer may, but if he does not, the private person shall file or cause to be filed in such court or before such magistrate an affidavit stating the offense for which the person was arrested.

Ohio is going to be very active in the next few months as the election gets closer. I say it’s time we start exercising our citizen’s arrest rights, what a powerful tool we have that we aren’t using!

That means if any member of the Bush Administration (war crimes, 9/11, etc.), John McCain (FEC violations), or Obama (violating the Logan Act with his Bilderberg attendance) etc. even steps foot in Ohio — we can get them.

Here are a few felonies to start with (and this is only Bush):

  1. ILLEGAL WAR
    George W. Bush has intentionally misled the Congress and the public regarding the threat from Iraq in order to justify a war against Iraq, intentionally conspired with others to defraud the United States in connection with the war against Iraq in violation of Title 18 United States Code, Section 371; [Evidence]
  2. ILLEGAL SPYING
    George W. Bush has admitted to ordering the National Security Agency to conduct electronic surveillance of American civilians without seeking warrants from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court of Review, duly constituted by Congress in 1978, in violation of Title 50 United States Code, Section 1805; [Evidence]
  3. GENEVA CONVENTION VIOLATIONS
    George W. Bush has conspired to commit the torture of prisoners in violation of the “Federal Torture Act” Title 18 United States Code, Section 113C, the UN Torture convention and the Geneva Convention, which under Article VI of the Constitution are part of the “supreme Law of the Land;”

    George W. Bush has conspired to deny due process to prisoners of war, indiscriminantly bomb cities, transfer prisoners of war from an occupied territory, and planned, prepared, initiated and waged of a war of aggression in violation of U.S. Military Code section 2441, Geneva convention (I Art 3, II Art 18, Art 19, III Art 13, Art 17, Art 33, Art 34, Art 49, IV Art 3), and the 1945 Nuremberg Principles articles 6(a) and (b); [Evidence]

  4. ILLEGAL DETENTION
    George W. Bush has acted to strip Americans of their constitutional rights by ordering indefinite detention of citizens, without access to legal counsel, without charge and without opportunity to appear before a civil judicial officer to challenge the detention, based solely on the discretionary designation by the President of a U.S. citizen as an “enemy combatant”, all in subversion of law; [Evidence]
  5. ILLEGAL RELEASE OF CLASSIFIED INFORMATION
    George W. Bush authorized the leaking classified national secrets to further a political agenda, exposing an unknown number of covert U. S. intelligence agents to potential harm and retribution while simultaneously refusing to investigate the matter; [Evidence]
  6. ILLEGAL FREEZING OF ACCOUNTS AND RESTRICTION TO FREEDOM OF ASSEMBLY
    George W. Bush ordered the freezing of financial accounts without limit to how groups were chosen to be on such a list, and further sets forth that he ordered himself the power to create blacklists of any individual he felt was associated with the aforementioned groups. Thereby creating a system of “guilt by association.” [Evidence]
  7. ILLEGAL USE OF SIGNING STATEMENTS
    George W. Bush has attached signing statements to more than one hundred bills before signing them, within which he has made over eleven hundred challenges to provisions of laws passed by Congress, a figure that exceeds the total number of such challenges by all previous presidents combined, and has used this practice to exempt himself, as President of the United States, from enforcing or from being held accountable to provisions of the said laws. By declining to veto bills, and instead attaching signing statements challenging hundreds of laws passed by Congress, he has sought to exempt the executive branch from accountability to said laws, thereby violating Article 1, Section 7 and Article II, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution. These articles of the Constitution dictate that the president has the option of signing or vetoing a bill, and upon signing the bill to “take care that the laws be faithfully executed.” [Evidence]

It’s time to take matters into our own hands. It’s obvious Congress (with a few notable exceptions) has NO intention of holding the Bush Regime accountable for any of their crimes.

So what say ye, my fellow Ohioans, ready to roll up your sleeves and fill up our prisons?

Congressional Hearing Today on the Imperial Presidency of George W. Bush

“The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”
- Article II, Section IV of the U.S. Constitution

Today at 10am, Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich (the only good Democrat in Congress) will be presenting his case for the impeachment of George W. Bush to the Judiciary Committee. (NO THANKS to Chairman John Conyers Jr., who has stonewalled impeachment efforts for YEARS.)

The six areas to be explored by the hearing are:

  1. improper politicization of the Justice Department and the U.S. Attorneys offices, including potential misuse of authority with regard to election and voting controversies;
  2. misuse of executive branch authority and the adoption and implementation of the so-called unitary executive theory, including in the areas of presidential signing statements and regulatory authority;
  3. misuse of investigatory and detention authority with regard to U.S. citizens and foreign nationals, including questions regarding the legality of the administration’s surveillance, detention, interrogation, and rendition programs;
  4. manipulation of intelligence and misuse of war powers, including possible misrepresentations to Congress related thereto;
  5. improper retaliation against administration critics, including disclosing information concerning CIA operative Valerie Plame, and obstruction of justice related thereto; and
  6. misuse of authority in denying Congress and the American people the ability to oversee and scrutinize conduct within the administration, including through the use of various asserted privileges and immunities.

Pretty easy points to argue! GO KUCINICH — you make me proud to be from Ohio!

Kucinich Presents 35 Articles of Impeachment Against Bush

UPDATE #3: June 11th, 2008: The House has voted to send the bill to the Judiciary Committee for review. I’d like to note that Rep. Wexler, a co-sponsor of this bill, sits on that committee. Also– Congressman Ron Paul, aka “Dr. No” voted YES this time.

PeaceChicken.com salutes Ohio’s own, Congressman Dennis Kucinich, as he introduced 35 Articles of Impeachment against George W. Bush last night on the floor of the House of Representatives. Let us never forget a very important part of the Constitution:

“The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

If only all members of Congress would be so brave. I especially commend the last three articles which relate to the Bush Administration’s crimes of 9/11.

Of course, while he’s doing his JOB trying to save this country and preserve our Constitution, the rest of Congress pays no attention.

“Resolved,” Kucinich began, “that President George W. Bush be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors, and that the following articles of impeachment be exhibited to the United States Senate…

“In his conduct while President of the United States, George W. Bush, in violation of his constitutional oath to faithfully execute the office of president of the United States, and to the best of his ability preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, and in violation of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, has committed the following abuses of power…”

The first article Kucinich presented, and many that followed, regarded the war in Iraq: “Article 1 – Creating a secret propaganda campaign to manufacture a false case for war against Iraq.”

…Kucinich, a 2004 and 2008 Democratic candidate for the White House, abandoned a prior attempt to begin impeachment proceedings against Bush in January of this year.

In April of 2007, Kucinich presented impeachment articles against Vice President Dick Cheney, but the effort went nowhere. Kucinich exclaimed that “impeachment may well be the only remedy which remains to stop a war of aggression against Iran.”

This June 5th: Time to Withdraw.

Tomorrow, June 5th, is the 75th Anniversary of the United States abolishing the Gold Standard.

The lack of a gold standard is why your dollars (aka Federal Reserve Notes) are now redeemable for NOTHING. Compared to its worth in 1933, the dollar now has a purchasing power of FOUR CENTS. That’s why it’s time to WITHDRAW what money you have left and take a stand against the Federal Reserve, whose system holds every American in slavery, whether or not you’re aware.

If the Federal Reserve, aka the central bank, is a mystery to you— that’s exactly how they like it. The fact is, the Federal Reserve is an unconstitutional institution that drains the wealth of the American people through the inflationary process. In order to win back true liberty, we must learn how the Federal Reserve is robbing us. Every day that passes, every time they print more money out of thin air— we are one day closer to total economic collapse.

One needn’t be an economist to understand: the Federal Reserve is neither federal, nor do they have any reserves. They are a privately owned corporation. Our dollars are no longer backed by gold or silver. It is a “fiat” currency, and every economy that has used fiat currency in the past has ultimately collapsed.

We interact with money every day of our lives. Understanding the American financial system is KEY to gaining true freedom and prosperity. That’s why this June 5th We the People MUST take a stand. It’s time to ABOLISH THE FED.
