As always, I will maintain my skepticism of the official story until I hear otherwise. Either way — she will be missed, and my thoughts go out to her family and friends, as well as the constituents she represented.

My hat’s off to you, Peter! This is what we MUST keep doing. Meeting these people everywhere they turn. (By “these people” I mean everyone who has blood on their hands— whether they’re a politician, reporter, media personality, etc.) Bring your cameras. Get video. Get audio. Ask questions. Demand answers and accountability.

I sometimes get crap from people when I show them videos from my friends with We Are Change, many disagree with their methods. But you know what? At this stage in the game, it’s the right thing to do. What are our other options for being heard at this point?

The time for politeness is long gone. While we sit here and patiently raise our hands waiting to ask our questions— i.e. working within the system— people keep dying. Enough is enough. We must BE THE CHANGE we wish to see.

I encourage everyone to find the closest We Are Change chapter and get involved with them. If there isn’t one around you, start one. Keep track of when politicians are in your area, get tickets, and be there waiting. Ask them the hard questions. Get it on tape. Become their new best friend.

Today at 10am, Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich (the only good Democrat in Congress) will be presenting his case for the impeachment of George W. Bush to the Judiciary Committee. (NO THANKS to Chairman John Conyers Jr., who has stonewalled impeachment efforts for YEARS.)

The six areas to be explored by the hearing are:

1. improper politicization of the Justice Department and the U.S. Attorneys offices, including potential misuse of authority with regard to election and voting controversies;
2. misuse of executive branch authority and the adoption and implementation of the so-called unitary executive theory, including in the areas of presidential signing statements and regulatory authority;
3. misuse of investigatory and detention authority with regard to U.S. citizens and foreign nationals, including questions regarding the legality of the administration’s surveillance, detention, interrogation, and rendition programs;
4. manipulation of intelligence and misuse of war powers, including possible misrepresentations to Congress related thereto;
5. improper retaliation against administration critics, including disclosing information concerning CIA operative Valerie Plame, and obstruction of justice related thereto; and
6. misuse of authority in denying Congress and the American people the ability to oversee and scrutinize conduct within the administration, including through the use of various asserted privileges and immunities.

Pretty easy points to argue! GO KUCINICH — you make me proud to be from Ohio!

If only all members of Congress would be so brave. I especially commend the last three articles which relate to the Bush Administration’s crimes of 9/11.

Of course, while he’s doing his JOB trying to save this country and preserve our Constitution, the rest of Congress pays no attention.

“In his conduct while President of the United States, George W. The first article Kucinich presented, and many that followed, regarded the war in Iraq: “Article 1 – Creating a secret propaganda campaign to manufacture a false case for war against Iraq.”

…Kucinich, a 2004 and 2008 Democratic candidate for the White House, abandoned a prior attempt to begin impeachment proceedings against Bush in January of this year.

In April of 2007, Kucinich presented impeachment articles against Vice President Dick Cheney, but the effort went nowhere. Kucinich exclaimed that “impeachment may well be the only remedy which remains to stop a war of aggression against Iran.”

(Cue the revolution music!)

Gee, I bet that’ll rein in our runaway Congress! …That‘ll show the Bush Administration who’s got the big & powerful… um… color orange!

Let’s see…the Bush Regime has agent orange in their arsenal as well an army of Fox News pundits that can convince the American Public that an apple is an orange, but the “radical” World Can’t Wait organization has decided to arm their followers with bandannas… THAT ARE ORANGE!!!!!!!

So, you mean… that’s it?

Meanwhile, Dictator Bush decider-ed from the beginning of these wars that Agent Orange’s long term effects aren’t destructive enough for the Iraqis (and our own soldiers)…and chose instead — Depleted Uranium. At least he’s finally done something for the world to remember him by… for the next 4.5 BILLION YEARS!

In response, World Can’t Wait has finally arrived at the perfect, bold strategy:

In courageous solidarity with those who are still being tortured, they will… wear ORANGE!

(I’ve watched enough television in my life to know that if this were a made-for-tv-movie, World Can’t Wait would be killed off by the first commercial.)

In all fairness to World Can’t Wait, at least they try to look tough, the other peace groups must live on milk toast alone. Do these groups actually believe peace can come without addressing the conflicting information that caused the “war on terror” in the first place? Why don’t they point out who are the enemies to our life and liberty and who clearly are not.

Until they do this, peace won’t have a chance.

There really are some people who are still afraid of Osama Bin Laden and his Radical Islamic Terrorist followers. These ill-informed Americans still believe these Radical Islamic Terrorists were responsible for killing 3,000 of us on September 11th, and why wouldn’t they? How many of us who are actually in the position to inform our fellow citizens have boldly spoken the truth about this deception? It is this dwindling, fearful, brainwashed third of the country which serves to immobilize this country’s peace lovers by acting like wet blankets upon any fires we attempt to light under America’s collective arse. Until the fearful are shown that radical Islamic terrorists can’t harm us unless the rogue forces within the US government helps them do so, their irrational fear will divert America’s attention from the much more dangerous home-grown enemies that orchestrated September 11th.

World Can’t Wait (and all the other peace groups out there) have decided that they are evidently making so much progress toward peace, they can afford to leave their own Little Boy buried under huge stockpiles of orange bandannas, petitions, signs, bullhorns, pins, t-shirts, ribbons, magnets, bumper stickers and baseball caps. If World Can’t Wait wanted to demonstrate their impatience with the Bush Regime, they’d throw down such nonsense campaigns and prepare peace’s most powerful Fat Man of all… THE TRUTH.

W?ij? is the Chinese word for both crisis and opportunity. W?ij? is a dangerous moment, a time when things start to go awry. A w?ij? indicates a perilous situation when one should be especially wary. Practically speaking, it is a time when one goes looking for advantages and benefits in order to save their own neck.

As a result of the “save your own neck” instinct, World Can’t Wait and the even more patient peace movement chooses to avoid the powerful 9-11 W?ij? altogether…leaving the opportunity it created unanswered. The peace movement may say that Bush and his Regime are ignorant, but the fact is, Bush and Co have done a whole lot more with the crisis and opportunity of 9-11 than the peace groups — they’ve destroyed our Bill of Rights, our Constitution, the environment, Habeas Corpus, our commons, our economy, and our dignity in the world…so why isn’t the peace movement capable of using the same “opportunity” for peace purposes? Can’t the peace movement see 9-11 truth could not only end this war, but end war for all time?

“There’s an old saying in Tennessee, I know it’s in Texas, probably in Tennessee that says… “Fool me once shame on… shame on you… Fool me… can’t git fooled agee-in!”

If 9-11 changed everything, couldn’t 9-11 truth change it again?

Just think if the peace groups of the 60′s would have publicized the Gulf of Tonkin incident? Would so many millions have died? How many must die before we decide on a more aggressive strategy (Truth! What a radical concept!) to achieve peace?

If we can hope to be effective at influencing our own congressmen and women to remedy our failed foreign policies, and yet we can’t even affect change upon the failing strategies of our peace groups… WOW! I hope we’ve all stocked up on water, canned goods and and have our bunkers dug and ready!

The World Can’t Wait might have a burning globe next to a picture of a hooded, tortured man but if they were half as impatient as they portray themselves… they’d demand a full independent investigation into September 11… NOW! They’d provide an audience for their own most eloquent members like Gore Vidal, Cynthia McKinney, Ramsey Clark, Ray McGovern, Ralph Nader, and Cindy Sheehan who already speak out about the 9-11 cover-up.

If any of these “PEACE GROUPS” would defend the 9-11 families who are begging Americans to stand up and demand a full investigation into the events of September 11th, they might actually get their precious peace and impeachment. Instead, they choose to re-enforce the propaganda through their silence about the age-old pattern of state sponsored, false-flag terror operations as if such public deceptions are “of little practical significance.”

Gee, where have I heard that one before?

Even Bush himself said:

“We must tell the truth about terror. Let us never tolerate any crazy conspiracy theories concerning the attacks of September the 11th.”

World Can’t Wait says:

“The world has been waiting, but the world can’t wait any longer. (We) can’t wait for a massive movement to arise, determined to make the sacrifices and take the risks; to overcome the obstacles, to show the courage and heart so urgently in demand today; to cry out enough – of the unjust wars, the threats of further wars, the mass destruction of entire cities and neighborhoods, the grotesque torture and endless imprisonment, the steady encroachment of a police state of pervasive and permanent government spying, the relentless poisoning of this planet and the very things that make life sustainable.”

Hey, World Can’t Wait… the world is still waiting. If you’re so upset about all these things, then why don’t you try something different… something radical… something that might actually work… and why don’t you TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT TERROR.

I guess it’s ultimately World Can’t Wait’s decision, but if it again chooses poorly — like all the other “peace groups” have done for the past 6 years — we must prepare to get what we’ve always gotten.

“The future is unwritten, which one we get is up to us.”

Oh and don’t forget the other guy…

The first bit of hope is a video (by Columbus IndyMedia) of Saturday’s protest at the Federal Building here in Columbus.

The second is something we’ve all been waiting for. You may have heard last week that Ohio’s own Rep. Dennis Kucinich said the “I” word on the House floor.

“Since war with Iran is an option of this Administration and since such war is patently illegal, then impeachment may well be the only remedy which remains to stop a war of aggression against Iran.”

Now Kucinish has gone even further and has sent out a video appeal to the nation, asking US, is it time?

We cannot let this administration go any deeper into this journey, into destroying democratic governance, trashing our Constitution, forgetting the very purpose of this nation. America was never meant to be a nation forever on the warpath. It was meant to be a nation which also had the capacity to “Promote the General Welfare.”

We need to reevaluate the direction of this administration by looking at its conduct in office, by determining whether it has faithfully followed the laws of our nation.

I’m prepared to start that process. I began this week with a speech on the floor of the house, which warned the administration that its actions toward Iran already constitute a case to ask the question about impeachment.

So I’m asking you, what do you think? Do you think it’s time?
